Sports Therapy

At Blackrock Physical Therapy we use a hands-on approach in dealing with sports injuries. The treatment consists of soft tissue manipulation with deep tissue work, muscle energy, pressure point therapy and myofascial release. Electrotherapy in the form of faradic and ultrasound also form part of the treatment when required. Each patient is given expert exercise therapy advice when required.

Injuries relating to sport and exercise are no longer the sole domain of the elite athlete. As more and more people become involved in recreational activities there is increased need for expert sports injury treatment.
